When the grand seagoing ship The Lucky Lady meets a tragic fate on the jagged rocks, the islanders find no survivors – only the ship’s figurehead, a hauntingly beautiful lady with long golden hair and flowing blue skirts. But one life remains: a child left behind by two of  the lost passengers, taken in by a kind fisherman. As she grows, whispers of folklore surround her – some call her blessed, others claim she carries the evil eye. And when she gazes upon death, the islanders fear she will never be the same again.
